Description
Sweet Cheese Pierogi (Varenyky) are classic Ukrainian sweet dumplings with a tender vanilla cheese filling. The dough is made from premium wheat flour, drinking water, chicken eggs and refined sunflower oil, so it stays soft and delicate after boiling.
Inside, there is a creamy mixture of farmer cheese with white granulated sugar and vanilla sugar, lightly seasoned with a pinch of salt. The result is a gentle, not overly sweet filling with a pleasant vanilla aroma, perfect for dessert or a sweet main course.
How to cook: frozen pierogi are put
into boiling salted water. They are brought to a boil while stirring and cooked
for 3–4 minutes. Served with sour
cream or extra sautéed onions
